Who we are

We are home makers and professionals who have experience of working in the public and private sectors and also the not-for-profit and informal sectors of the economy.

WHO WE ARE

We therefore understand:

The needs, dilemma and worries of women and men who have to leave their homes to go to work, those who need to/want to work from home (WFH) and those who have to or want to be at home full time, and (yet) care for the domestic space and their loved ones;

The needs of employers in respect of outsourcing aspects of the hospitality and care sections of their work spaces, work environments and work conditions to persons and groups that value character and quality;

The financial constraints and the real (and perceived) abuse that many teenagers and young adults face in their quest to earn money to meet their basic needs and also get quality formal and non-formal education to reach their potentials and fulfill their dreams of becoming persons/full citizens in their homes, communities and countries; and

The needs, worries and dilemmas skilled, low-skilled and unskilled persons have about working in the care sector of the economy (in homes and formal work places), especially worries about their rights and dignity as human persons.

We support service users and hourly, part-time and full-time, skilled, low-skilled and unskilled persons in their quests for character and quality in: care service delivery and care working environments and conditions, respectively.

WHO WE ARE

We share the concerns and commitment of the International Labour Organization (ILO) for decent work to reduce poverty as a means for achieving equitable, inclusive and sustainable development.
